For Event Organizers Booking Josephine Victoria Yam & Team

1. Introduction

Thank you for inviting Josephine Victoria Yam, CEO & Co-Founder of Skills4Good AI, to speak at your event. Josephine is a globally recognized thought leader in Responsible AI and ethics, delivering high-impact sessions that equip today’s leaders to navigate AI with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

These Terms & Conditions outline the framework for engaging Josephine and her team in a professional and seamless collaboration.

2. Booking Process

  1. A member of the Skills4Good AI team will confirm Josephine’s availability via email and provide this Speaking Engagement Terms & Conditions page.
  2. Upon your agreement, an invoice will be issued.
  3. Full payment is due no later than 14 calendar days before the event date.
  4. Once payment is received, the engagement is confirmed and scheduled in our calendar.
  5. Session preparation begins following confirmation. A brief logistics coordination call may be scheduled if requested.
  6. Josephine and her team will deliver the session as agreed.

3. What’s Included

Each standard speaking engagement includes:

  • One live session (keynote, panel, or workshop), up to 60 minutes
  • Light customization of content aligned with your audience and theme
  • One optional 20-minute logistics coordination call
  • Pre-approved promotional assets (bio, headshot, session title)

Add-ons such as extended Q&A, breakout facilitation, or post-event resources are not included. These may be scoped separately, subject to additional fees, and must be agreed upon in advance.

4. Payment Terms

  • All speaker fees are quoted in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
  • Full payment is required to confirm the engagement.
  • All payments are final and non-refundable.

5. Use of Content & Intellectual Property

All insights, stories, slides, and materials shared during the session are the intellectual property of Josephine Yam and Skills4Good AI.

The following terms apply:

  • Recording: Audio, video, and livestream recordings are not permitted.
  • Photos: Still photographs may only be taken or shared with prior written approval.
  • Attribution: Any use of Josephine’s name, slides, or ideas must receive written permission and include her full name and Skills4Good AI affiliation.
  • Content may not be reused, repurposed, or distributed internally or externally without written approval.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If the organizer cancels, postpones, or reschedules the event within 14 calendar days, the full fee remains payable.
  • If rescheduling is requested more than 14 days in advance, Skills4Good AI will accommodate where availability allows.
  • If Josephine is unable to deliver the session due to serious illness or emergency, 50% of the fee will be refunded or the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
  • For in-person engagements: If cancellation occurs within 72 hours and travel has been arranged, the organizer will reimburse all non-refundable travel costs, provided receipts are submitted.

7. Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for non-performance due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, health emergencies, or government-imposed travel restrictions. In such cases, both parties will work in good faith to reschedule the engagement.

8. Confidentiality

All communications, proposals, speaker fees, and engagement materials are strictly confidential and may not be shared publicly or internally beyond the core event planning team without written consent.

9. Final Note

Josephine Yam and the Skills4Good AI team are committed to delivering a world-class experience for your audience. These terms are designed to uphold clarity, professionalism, and mutual respect throughout our collaboration.
