On March 27, 2026, Josephine Yam, JD, LLM, MA Phil (AI Ethics), CEO & Co-Founder of Skills4Good AI, served as moderator of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Breakout Session at the CanWIN Global Summit 2026, hosted by the Canadian Women’s International Network (CanWIN), an initiative of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada). The full-day summit took place at Manulife Headquarters in Toronto and brought together women entrepreneurs, business leaders, government officials, and ecosystem builders from across Canada and the Indo-Pacific region.

The ICT breakout session explored key strategies, challenges, and best practices for Canadian women entrepreneurs seeking to expand into high-potential Asian markets. As moderator, Josephine led a structured discussion covering market assessment and entry strategies, adapting business models to Asian markets, navigating cultural and regulatory differences, and identifying the supports available to Canadian exporters on both sides of the Pacific. She subsequently presented the key findings of the ICT breakout session to the full plenary.
