On June 23, 2026, Josephine Yam, JD, LLM, MA (AI Ethics), CEO & Co-Founder of Skills4Good AI, presented to the General Managers of Ontario’s 36 conservation authorities.

Her presentation addressed the four AI risks every organization must detect and mitigate — hallucinations, privacy breaches, bias, and reasoning gaps — and introduce the Responsible AI Audit™, a structured verification methodology that equips professionals to verify AI output before it causes harm.

Conservation Ontario invited Josephine to speak to the General Managers of Ontario’s Conservation Authorities about Skills4Good AI’s Responsible AI Audit methodology. In accepting the invitation, Skills4Good AI is pleased to help advance responsible AI governance across Ontario’s conservation authorities.

Conservation authorities are publicly funded bodies that work with municipalities, the provincial government, and the communities they serve. When AI informs public-facing decisions, reports, or recommendations, unverified output is not merely a technical error — it is a reputational and governance risk. For General Managers responsible for land, water, and natural heritage stewardship across Ontario, knowing how to detect and mitigate AI risk is now a core leadership competency.

This engagement deepens Skills4Good AI’s commitment to Canada’s environmental sector.

Skills4Good AI is currently partnered with the Sustainability Network for Year 2 to deliver Canada’s first Responsible AI Audit™ Series for environmental nonprofits and with the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) to launch a National Responsible AI Literacy Initiative that equips staff across its chapters.
